John Maxwell

John serves as the Sr. Director of Corporate Development at ClariMed, where he brings a relationship-driven approach to growth and strategy. Over the course of his career spanning account management, business development and corporate development, he has supported more than $1.5 billion in investments across the healthcare, life sciences, and MedTech sectors. Drawing on this diverse functional experience, John applies a unique perspective that combines commercial insight with transactional expertise, enabling him to deliver outcomes that are both financially sound and culturally aligned. At ClariMed, John leads efforts to identify and execute strategic opportunities that expand the firm’s capabilities and reinforce its leadership in human centered medical device development. His background includes experience in Fortune 500 environments as well as high growth, venture backed start ups. John earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and holds graduate degrees from Duke University and The College of William & Mary.
