Kendra Norbaka is a Human Factors Consultant at ClariMed, based in the Cambridge, Massachusetts office. She brings a multidisciplinary background in biomedical engineering and electronics and robotics, holding a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Kendra has moderated more than 50 usability study sessions with a wide range of intended users, from lay users to surgeons, OR technicians, endoscopy nurses, and reprocessing technicians, and she leads protocol development, study execution, data and use-related risk analysis, and reporting. Earlier in her career, she supported R&D and preclinical work on blood pump and blood oxygenation systems, along with human factors research for an insulin pump. Kendra is driven by human-centered design and a focus on making medical devices safe, intuitive, and effective in real-world use.
